Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright recently announced that Lijie Han (韩利杰) has joined its corporate practice as a partner in Shanghai. Transitioning from Katten Muchin Rosenman where he served as a partner, his arrival further deepens the service capabilities of the firm in cross-border M&A, project development and finance, and foreign-related regulatory matters.
Mr. Han advises Chinese companies on their international business activities as well as US and European corporates and investors operating in China. He possesses extensive experience representing Chinese companies, investment banks, and state-owned enterprises on a broad range of domestic and international transactions. Prior to his tenure at Katten Muchin Rosenman he practiced at several premier international law firms including Baker McKenzie, Latham & Watkins, and DLA Piper.
The arrival of Mr. Han comes as Norton Rose Fulbright celebrates 20 years in Shanghai. Since establishing its presence in the city the firm has built a strong track record advising clients on significant investments, financings, and strategic projects involving China. Today Shanghai stands as a key hub within the Asia Pacific platform of the firm connecting clients and opportunities across the region and beyond.
