Chance Bridge Law Firm recently announced the addition of Ying Li (李颖), who officially joins the firm as Senior Counsel in the Dispute Resolution Department of its Beijing office. The arrival of Ms. Li will further strengthen the firm's capabilities in civil and commercial dispute resolution, intellectual property, antitrust and competition, and complex corporate risk resolution.
Ms. Li focuses her practice on civil and commercial litigation, commercial arbitration, intellectual property, corporate equity disputes, and contract and tort disputes. Having served corporate clients for many years, she has accumulated extensive experience in dispute resolution, general corporate advisory, intellectual property, and content risk control. She is dedicated to helping enterprises effectively identify operational risks, properly resolve commercial disputes, and safeguard their long-term development interests.
Prior to joining Chance & Bridge, Ms. Li deeply cultivated her expertise in the legal practice of top-tier internet platforms for over eight years. From January 2018 to April 2021, she worked in the legal department of Alibaba Digital Media and Entertainment Group, where she was responsible for content rights protection, litigation, and legal research and compliance. Subsequently, from April 2021 to July 2026, she joined the legal department of Douyin Group. During her tenure there, she served successively as Legal Research Director and Head of Litigation, overseeing core matters including litigation management, legal research, and cooperation with judicial authorities.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Li served in the Beijing court system for nearly 16 years. From July 2002 to January 2018, she worked successively in the Commercial Division, Intellectual Property Division, Civil Division, and Zhongguancun Tribunal, eventually holding key positions including Presiding Judge of the Zhongguancun Tribunal and Presiding Judge of the Third Civil Division.
In terms of her educational background, Ms. Li earned her LL.B., LL.M., and Ph.D. degrees in Civil and Commercial Law from Renmin University of China Law School.
